Study in China- Fully Funded Scholarship at Xiamen University China, 2018

University Description:

Xiamen University offers up to 24 scholarships for doctoral, master’s and undergraduate students. These scholarships are available to international (non-Chinese) students for 2018.

Xiamen University, known as Da Xia Da, located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, is the first university in China founded by overseas Chinese. Established by Tan Kah Ki in 1921, the University was originally known as Amoy University.

In order to promote their internationalization, XMU has launched a lot of intermediate English programs for international students. These programs are taught in English and aim to produce high-level international specialists with a strong professional foundation as well as a good understanding of Chinese society and culture.

Scholarship Description:

Deadline for submission of applications: 30 October, 2018

Course Level: Scholarships are available to pursue PhD, Master and University programs.

Scholarship Award:

The University offers scholarships to doctoral, master’s and undergraduate candidates.
First-degree scholarships for doctoral and master’s degrees will cover their tuition fees (up to 4 years for doctoral programs, or two or three years for master’s programs) and a monthly living allowance (RMB 3,500  per doctor; RMB 3,000  per master student). Undergraduate candidates will not be awarded a first-class scholarship.

Second-class scholarships will cover tuition fees (up to 4 years for doctoral programs, 2 or 3 years for master’s programs, or 4 or 5 years for undergraduate programs).

The academic performance of the scholarships will be evaluated each year, and their scholarship will only be renewed for the following year.

Number of scholarships: 24 (including 8 for doctoral candidates, 11 for Masters and 5 for undergraduate candidates)

Nationality: International Students (Non-Chinese)

Eligibility:

Eligible countries: Non-Chinese citizens can apply for these scholarships.

Entry requirements: Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with good health.
